Michael Cozad
President/Founder/Director

Michael’s manufacturing and retail background began with Anheuser-Busch and that company’s fight for domination in the beverage industry in the 80s. Michael started his internet career with Ark Interface/Packard Bell/NEC in 1995. Michael drafted and organized an Internet Portal called Planet Oasis. Planet Oasis bundled brands like Excite, Lycos, Yahoo, Warner Bros, CNN, Disney and many others as an OEM Desktop icon on Packard Bell computers. Michael expanded the portal to products like Sega’s first internet connected game console Saturn Net Link and many CD-ROM Brands of the day like Sierra On-Line. Michael constructed what is known as the first “pay per click” contracts in the industry in 1995 with Planet Oasis.

In 1997 Michael was awarded his first technology patent, http://www.patents.com/Michael-Cozad/Seattle/WA/587447/inventors/ while working at thebrain.com as the Business Development Director. Michael was VP of Business Development at Internet Entertainment Group, a leader in internet marketing and ecommerce where he designed the “Webmaster Bounty Program.” The model used in the “Webmaster Bounty Program” is now used by all Search engines for non-branded domain advertising. As VP Michael oversaw all distribution agreements with @Home, Roadrunner, Comcast, Echo Star and other MSOs of the era. Recently Michael played a critical role as VP of Media Properties at Impart Media Group. Impart specialized in interactive informational and retail displays.

In 1990 he founded and organized the World Extreme Skiing Championship in Valdez, Alaska while building, owning and operating the World renowned Tsaina Lodge. In 2002 Skiing Magazine named Michael to the list of “Skiing 100 Most Important People”.

Michael attended Hampden College and graduated Phi Theta Kappa, Seattle Central Community College, AA.
